Triple Negative Breast Cancer -- My Story
How do you help and support a person diagnosed with cancer? What to do, what help to offer and how to make a difference. I designed CancerBlankets™ six years after my cancer treatment to help empower people to help their friends or themselves through the fear, stress, pain and uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis. I used all the therapeutic products offered on this site during my cancer treatment and they greatly minimized and often alleviated the harmful side effects of chemo and radiation therapy.
This website is designed to take the guess work out of finding a proactive, useful and constructive way to help yourself or someone you love who is living with the challenges of cancer. It was started to make sense out of my own cancer experience and to help others diagnosed with cancer.
Triple negative, Stage IIB breast cancer and one cancerous lymph node. This diagnosis altered my life in November 2002. So like many women, men and children before me, I began my cancer journey requiring surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy to save my life. I was guided along a path to better health with the assistance of an amazing medical team, ever encouraging husband, caring family and immense support system.
My laser etched inspirational CancerBlankets are inscribed with the thoughts, prayers and hopes that came to me during guided imagery. These ultra soft fleece blankets are great "nap companions" and come with a carrying strap so they can keep you warm while at the infusion clinic. All the products offered on my website make cancer treatment and its side effects bearable. I trust and know that they will also bring comfort to you or someone you love.
With respect, Patti
